Required: U.S.A. TRACK AND FIELD MEMBERSHIP CARD: All athletes must be a member of USATF.  The Group Accident Insurance Program begins with the date that the USA Association receives your registration. Basically, the Program covers all track-related accidents at practice sites and meets.

Cost for the membership card is:$20.00. This fee is NOT included in the

MPH Membership membership cost. Click on the Picture below to purchase.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES: A copy must be turned in before first regulation meet. Applies to new athletes only.

(not needed for returning athletes already registered with USATF)

T-SHIRTS: All supporters of the Miles Per Hour Track Team are encouraged to buy and wear team T-Shirt. Cost $10 for adults and $8 for youth.

One MPH T-Shirt will be provided to each runner. (cost covered in membership dues)

Track Meet participation FEES: Two development meets and six regulation meets are $3.00/athlete per track meet. (Tucson track meets are $4)

One invitational and two state meets are $3.00/per event, and the Jr. Olympics Regional Meet is $4.00/per event.

TRACK MEET FEES WILL BE COLLECTED THE MORNING OF THE TRACK MEET.

UNIFORMS & SWEATS: Athletes must compete in Miles Per Hour's uniform. Uniforms are required and are an additional cost.

Uniform cost: $40

Membership Cost: $80.

Family Discounts Available: $80 - 1st athlete , $60 - 2nd athlete $45 - each additional

(Family discount only applies to athletes living in the same household)

ATTENTION: Consult your physician before training and competitions.  Athletes train and compete at their own risk.  The Miles Per Hour Track Club will provide the necessary equipment for training and competing.  Some specialty implements and training equipment are the athletes responsibility. 

Track Meets:

TRACK MEETS ARE ON SATURDAY'S AND 2 DAY TRACK MEETS CONTINUE ONTO SUNDAY MORNING.

TRACK MEET STARTS AT 8 AM AND ARE GENERALLY OVER AROUND 2 PM.

TRACK MEETS ARE OUTSIDE AND WE ARE ALL AT THE MERCY OF THE WEATHER.

FIRST TRACK MEET IS IN JANUARY AND LAST MEET IN JUNE

EVERY RUNNER IS REQUIRED TO BE AT THE TRACK MEET LOCATION BY 7:30am. IF YOUR CHILD FAILS TO TO SHOW UP AT THE REQUESTED TIME HE/SHE WIL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TRACK MEET FOR THAT DAY.

• If your child will miss a track meet or leave early, please notify coaching staff a.s.a.p.  

• Relay's:  If your child is on a relay, they are required to attend practice sessions.  If they miss a track meet or continually miss relay practice, they will be taken out of the relay team pool. In general, the fastest 4 make the team unless one of the fastest is in an event that conflicts with the relay.  Relay's require a higher level of commitment because if your child does not show up, 3 other kids do not get to compete. 

• Each track meet Miles Per Hour parent's are responsible to volunteer for various activities. Example, timing, moving hurdles, long jump , etc.  Athlete/Parental assistance is required for club membership and in running an efficient track meet.

• Once competition starts, parents are not allowed on the field.  If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the Miles Per Hour coaching staff.

• Each athlete/runner will be assigned their individual events for the benefit for the team.

• Destructive, disrespectful, or unsportsmanlike behavior from athletes,

  parents/guardians will NOT be tolerated. Disciplinary actions will

  include but not limited to: Dismissal from practice, dismissal from competition or removal from team.
