Letter to potential sponsors

Dear Friend,

It is my pleasure to offer you, your company or organization the opportunity to become a Primary Sponsor of the “Miles per Hour” Track Club. We are a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to cultivate and develop young athletes within South Phoenix and Laveen area to become the athletes of the future. Well be kicking off our 2012 track season November 15^th 2011. This club competes in state, regional, and national competitions. Our athletes have won at all levels of competition.  MPH Track Team (Miles per Hour) provides personal coaching and training for all track and field events for athletes from Sub-Bantam (5-8 yrs old) to (16- 17 yrs old) young men and women 

2012 will be our 4^th season here in the Phoenix area and we are quite proud of it. Miles Per Hour is so much more than just a track club.  Our goal is to develop our kids physically by: Encouraging proper eating habits, conditioning, build speed and endurance - Mentally by encouraging proper: etiquette, manners, self control, handling emotions and respect.   

The expense of maintaining MPH Track Club is much greater than one might expect. For example, the cost of relay batons, hurdles, starting blocks, and other associated equipment for training will be a significant expense. These expenses in conjunction with rent for the facility, field maintenance, repairs and other miscellaneous expenses will exceed what we receive in registrations. In addition, for those athletes whose parent’s financial limitations prohibit them from participating. We work with the parent (s) to provide some measure of aid so that all who want to participate can. For our accomplishments check our site   

We rely on the support of individuals and local area business to help provide these services to the youth in our community. We depend on sponsors and Donors like you to help us provide a safe learning and active environment for our kids. Sad to say but us coaches are the only Male figure most of these kids have in their lives. We spend s o much time with them beyond practice and track meets we literally all become a big family. Our recruiting efforts indicate that we will register over 60 kids this year. MPH Track Club will be a major player in the youth Track & Field arena. We appreciate any type of donation or contribution to help further the mission of our organization.

 We welcome cash sponsors. As a sponsor, your name and/or organization will follow our club wherever we go. All MPH members, family, and supporters of MPH Track Team will wear our team shirts to every track meet and all around the valley with your business advertising on the back of the T-Shirt.  If you have a web site, we will display your company or organization on our web site so it can be viewed by thousands of people.

In addition, your contribution is totally tax deductible. If you choose to sponsor our organization, you can use our Tax number EIN# 26-3394622to write off your contribution. It’s a WIN-WIN scenario for all. 

Our Goal is to raise $3,000. A ONE TIME donation of a $500 is requested per advertized slot on the T-shirts and website. It is encouraged to buy more than one slot for double the advertising space for your business. There are six slots available on the shirt. Our website is listed at the top of Google search, Phoenix.gov, Dex, Kudzu, Yellow Pages, Facebook, isport.com, and many others. It’s been viewed by thousands of parents, friends and supporters of Miles per Hour Track Club over the past 4 years.  M.P.H. will represent your business throughout all of 2012.
